I recently received a Razer Goliath 5.1 Soundbar for my birthday, capable of accepting input through Aux, Bluetooth, and Optical cable. Example for Dolby :\SBZ_CD_L13_1_01_11\extras\Audio\DDL\įor older games, to have 5.1 surround when Dolby Digital Live is selected just use Creative Alchemy and add your games.I have a problem that I'm hoping someone with more knowledge can shed some light on. You can use 7Zip to unzip the Creative installer and you will find there the installers for Dolby and DTS. check in windows Device manager that the creative driver is used and not Microsoft one Open Witcher 3 and observe sound is coming from all speakers for example when going around a fire. Open VLC media player open audio settings and make sure you have :Output mode ->Automatic ,HDMI/SPDIG passthrough Enabled AC3/DTS Only, Device ->Speakers(Sound Blaster Z) and open a movie who has surround and check all 5.1 speakers have sound (You can do this also in Command Control Speaker headphones tab). Go in sound blaster Command Control in the Cinema Tab and select DDL or DTS This appears in right bottom on windows desktop as a microphone icon Make sure win Windows 10 microphone privacy settings is set to allowed and c:\Program Files (x86)\Creative\Shared Files\CTAudSvc.exe is using the microphone. Restart PC and open the Creative Command Control and you should have Cinematic TabĪssuming you are connecting the sound card to the audio system via optical cable make sure both Speakers and SPIDIF-Out have a green check mark (Open Volume Mixer in Windows) Install the drivers from creative web site SBZ_CD_L13_1_01_11.exe Delete the parent "Creative Tech" registry (right click -> delete) For me is found in parent Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Creative Tech. Open Regedit in admin mode and search for "Dolby Digital Live Pack". Now remove all registry entries for Dolby. If you get errors when deleting them close the open processes by typing in Start ->"services" and then Stop Creative Service Any hit you find just uninstall itĭelete all the folders :c:\Program Files\Creative\, c:\Program Files (x86)\Creative\, c:\ProgramData\Creative, c:\Users\\AppData\Local\Creative. Remove old sound card drivers for example by searching in the Add Remove Programs text for "Sound." ,"Command", "ASIO","Pack". On the last switch i observed one feature was not working anymore called Cinematic in Sound Blaster Z series control panel I changed it with a Creative Sound Blaster Z and then i switch back to X3 and then again back to the Z card I have a windows 10 System where i had initially an X3 Sound Blaster card
